Topic: The Five-Minute Neurological Assessment
Stroke Assessment
Objectives:
The attendee should be able to recall the
basics of the neurological exam,
including the brain, spinal cord and
peripheral nervous system,
and complete a neurological assessment
in approximately 5 minutes.
The attendees should be familiar with the
basic signs and symptoms of a stroke and
how to differentiate between the two types.

Mississippi Physical Therapy Association

$10.00 for MPTA members/$20.00 for non-members.

The first hour will be spent reviewing the basics

The second hour will be reviewing the
signs/symptoms of strokes and
going through the various cerebral patterns
as well as some of the brain stem strokes.
The Mississippi Occupational Therapy Association will also be offering CEUs for this event.
